History
The Village Hall in Thorpe Abbotts is the only facility that remains within the Village. It was built in 1954 with the land gifted to the residents of the Village who own the property including the land.
Laying the foundation stone
Thorpe Abbotts is a small village. There are 165 residents and it is imperative to maintain a strong sense of community with the Village Hall at its centre.
In 2025, the Village Hall extended a warm welcome to the neighbouring villages of Billingford and Rushall to participate in our events and activities. This has proved to be a very positive development, strengthening community links and increasing participation across all three villages.
We are now at a point in time when the future of the building as it stands today needs to be decided upon. Under the section Future Plans you will be able to keep up to date with the progress we are making to secure the hall’s future.
